Excellent place for anyone who likes walking or cycling, and country views. Miss W, Rotherham, South Yorkshire 14 November 2010
Pye Hall was a great cottage in an area out outstanding natural beauty which I knew very little about until I got there. Brilliant walks nearby, some coastal, some woodland, some more challenging hillsides, something for everbody. Good nature reserves such as Leighton Moss within walking distance as well. Mr S, South Queensferry, West Lothian 23 October 2010
From the cottage you can step out onto paths which take you all over Silverdale and Arnside. Silverdale village with shops, pubs etc is 15 minutes walk away, the station is ten minutes and the bus stop is only two minutes so you can stay in this beautiful part of the country without a car. Mr D, Stroud, Gloucestershire 28 July 2010
Comfortable and cosy cottage with well-equipped kitchen, in easy reach of beautiful walks (from the front door) and wonderful wildlife. Safe, grassed garden for children. A lovely getaway, we'll certainly come back. Mrs W, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, Northumberland 05 May 2010
A perfect cottage, a fabulous view and the children could have watched the lambs all day. Lots of exploring, rain or shine, near and further afield. Mr G, Lewes, East Sussex 27 April 2010
A beautiful location and views from the cottage. Interesting walks around Eaves Wood with limestone pavements, and the cottage was so lovely we wish we could have taken it with us! Miss H, Banbury, Oxfordshire 27 April 2010
